Belladonna usually looks calm and composed, often masking her emotion with a friendly smile. She likes to socialize, but mostly to gather information instead of making friends. She usually likes to give playful banter to other people as well, as a way to get close to them. The redhead is very observant of her surroundings, using it to decide how she should react or what she should say. She is good at positioning herself and can appoint herself to be a leader and a follower depending on the situation, as long as it benefits her.
Selfish and uncaring are sometimes used to describe Belladonna's personality, she only cares about her own goals and doesn't feel any need to help others unless she thinks it would benefit her.
Despite how sharp she looks, she has a carefree side and sometimes likes to show her lazy side to her close aide although usually no more than that. If she takes a liking to someone (which is rare due to her distrust of others), she would show a hidden side of herself even more. The Corona is a powerful mafia organization that was established by a total of twelve families. The organization has a unique leadership system: the leader of the organization is chosen from the strongest family every three years. For years, the Vinci family was considered the strongest and most influential, producing great leaders consecutively. This sparked jealousy among the other families, leading to the orchestrated assassination of the organization's leader.
After the assassination of Belladonna's grandmother, the Vinci family fell into disarray. The other families pretended it was an assassination by their enemies. Belladonna's grandfather, unable to bear the loss of his beloved wife, decided to confront the other families. However, he was ridiculed and ended up taking his own life out of shame. Belladonna's father, Albero, attempted to run for the leadership position but failed miserably compared to the other candidates, marking the beginning of a dark era for the Vinci family. Belladonna witnessed everything that happened but initially had no intention to take action.
The other families mocked the Vinci family, belittling Belladonna, looking down on her, and treating her as if she didn't matter. Albero made countless attempts to reclaim the throne, believing that persistence would eventually lead to success. The other families encouraged him, giving him false hope while secretly ridiculing his futile efforts. Erica, Belladonna's mother, remained loyal to Albero's side, sacrificing her own health to support him. However, Erica's health deteriorated beyond recovery, and she eventually succumbed to her illness, leaving Belladonna and Albero alone. Overwhelmed with grief for his wife and realizing the futility of his endeavors, Albero chose a life of solitude, leaving Belladonna to shoulder all the burdens alone.
All the events that transpired ignited a fire within Belladonna. She felt an intense desire to revive the Vinci family, restore its former glory, and become the true leader of the organization. The hatred and loneliness she experienced coursed through her veins, fuelling her determination. But in order to make her dream come true, Belladonna knew she had to make several preparations. The first and foremost requirement was acquiring power and exclusivity within the organization, she believed that becoming a Hunter would grant her the necessary skills and status to rise above the rest. Determined to succeed, Belladonna pushed herself to the limit, devoting each day to rigorous preparation for the most critical step in her plan, the Hunter exam.
