✖ It is a vast world brimming with riches and Items that Hunters can only dream of obtaining. However, there are also plenty of common ones that aid us within combat, or on Missions. In this system, we will detail you the types of Items you may obtain and how they may help your character during RP. It is vital to you that you know we have four distinct types of collectible Items on Hunter World, and I describe them below:
Field: Any common Item not directly related to combat. It covers medicinal supplies, camping gear, binoculars, or even matchboxes! It costs 10k Jenny to purchase.
Technology: Any piece of machinery which may be useful to your character. For example, a phone, laptop, car, etc. It can prove to be useful within a plethora of unique situations, whether for combat or social. It costs 50k Jenny to purchase.
Weapons: Any piece of equipment made to help directly with combat. It can whatever you would like, from blow darts, guns, swords, brass knuckles, to even cards.
It costs 50k Jenny, but receives a Tier rating of Advanced, meaning your equipment will receive Scaling. In order to upgrade the equipment to a rating of Master, you must pay 3 Tokens.
However, consider that there is the potential to be Disarmed. It is wise to consider your options carefully before you commit to a certain build.
Treasure: It is the rarest class of Items. However, do not let that mislead you. Treasure is not Inherently special perse, but, can be quite valuable In-Character for reputation. It is possible a Treasure can hold special properties, either Nen related, or plot related, but usually, Treasures are nothing but Items that reward reputation when possessed. Its rarity will range from uncommon, rare, to super rare. (It is akin to Hunter NFTs or Gacha.)
Pets: A very unique class of Items. In truth, they are not exactly Items, but we count them under the Items umbrella, for simplicity. Pets or Mounts can be earned or bought. It largely depends, varying from case to case. If you want one, you can just register one, but certain ones with Perks can only earned or bought. For example: Davy has a Roc Mount which lets him travel without needing to write a travel topic.
