It is rather easy to call Eru a child of superb wit. Yet, though he may be sly or full of guile, Eru maintains his own special set of morals. It is crucial to know that the boy does not mean harm, but having been raised by the mafia, he will often behave more dubious than others. If one was to talk with him, they would certainly take note of his curious and playful energy that exudes from his very being.
Eru holds the belief that others must pull their own weight. In spite of that though, he can be quite charitable toward those who deems worthy of assisting. In order to be respected by Eru, one must possess a certain degree of courtesy, as he detests those who are unable to civilly speak with him. A child of Yorknew he was, so, his natural patience with others can be rather thin.
At heart, Eru is a free bird. Yet, his family and 'Crow' kept him locked up within the confines of Yorknew until he was rescued, freed from his prison. It was only then that Eru begun to know the joy of liberty. Eru lived within the nation that touted liberty, but, could never obtain that, until he begun to witness the world. If unable to move freely, Eru will often pace or become frantic.
Likes: It should be quite obvious, but, he loves to explore the world. It is his utmost joy. However, other than that, you can expect the amateur 'Hunter' to love a well told story. It is rather fun for him to listen on to the tales of other people.
Dislikes: It is best not to try to restrict Eru from being free, else expect him to loathe you, quite so. If you are a friend of his, you are best just cheering him on. It is no use arguing with Eru, a boy who unapologetically states what he wants.
Aspirations | Dreams: Eru has begun to be absorbed by the concept of 'Hunters' upon learning of what they are about. It is his foremost goal to retrieve the treasure that was stolen from his father, but, the boy too wants to uncover secrets of the world. Eru understands this world may be vast, but his curiosity is far more vast.
Phobias | Fears: Being couped up is what he dreads by far the most. It scared him that he could have ended up only knowing Yorknew, and no place else. However, that is but one of his anxieties. Eru cannot help but worry that now 'Crow' may be furious that a member of the family has revolted. Eru rather avoid them.

Appearance: In a faded black zip up jacket, the boy often prefers darker colors. Yet, for bottoms, he dons khaki cargo shorts. Eru rather not cut his hair, opting to have wild untamed hair, with a ponytail to boot. It is clear that the boy can be considered quite fit. Eru has a light tan skin tone due to his habit of being outside. In regards to footwear, Eru finds black combat boots to be very useful, so often he will don that. It is clear when one meets him that the boy can light up a room- with a playful spirit, but whether he wants to- that will be up to him. Eru sports four colorful stickers on his face.

In the vast land of Yorbia lies the city of Yorknew. In each and every crevice of this amoral city, one can encounter a 'feather' of the 'Crow' organization. It crawls with their underlings. If drugs or banned material are what you are on the hunt for, then seek out 'Crow'. It is an enormous faction that has maintained order of the underworld for a decade now.
However, do beware of the 'talons' of 'Crow' and their elite subordinates that aid with their various lines of business. If you try to snitch, you can expect the 'talons' to come for you. If you try to mislead them, the 'talons' will know. If you try to betray them, the 'talons' will ensure you and your allies are dispatched of.
Sat atop on a rooftop, the boy observed his target. It was just an average day for him. Eh- the city was polluted as always, but whatever- Eru quietly ate his candy he picked up on his way here. It must be a busy day for his mother. Eru was tossed the very first paper that came to her desk. Is being a debt collector hard?
Hm, well- perhaps for his mother. However, for Eru, who was on the ground, not at a desk, the job was fine. It was nothing special though. Eru was quite tired of the city though. Yorknew was nothing but a concrete jungle to the boy.
Anyway- the boy was nearly prepared to snare his target within his trap. In a flash, he was to leap from the rooftop, drawing his pistol. Eru was to corner his target at his own doorstep. Upon being cornered, the man was to drop his groceries, before then a sigh was to escape from his lips. It was then that the boy was to whisper:
"It is the 'Blue Planet' gem, or your head. I rather not cause a scene. I am here to just collect your debt, nothing more."
It was silent for a short moment. Eru began to become agitated that the man did not respond to him. It was usual for those he corners to concede right away. However, this man did not.
"I will tell you one more time: hand over 'Blue Pla-"
Interjecting, the man began to speak.
"Hm.. a voice of a kid?"
In less than a second, Eru could feel a fist connect with his abdomen. It was a strike! Into the trash behind him Eru crashed. It stung badly, the punch. Eru winced with pain, before then standing up, just barely being able to. It was only then that the man was able to catch a decent look at the boy. In a fit of rage, Eru was about to warn the man one last time, but then he spoke again-
"Eru Sabel, right? I have to admit- I never thought your mother would let you meet me. It must be busy business for her to just throw you any random target with a debt."
It was clear to Eru now that this was no average target. In disbelief and sudden fright, he was to scramble for his pistol he had dropped when he was hit.
"I advise you calm down, kid. I rather not harm you. I mean- you are my niece, so-"
In shock at what he had just said, Eru froze.
"Hm.. Eru Gema- does that suit you more?"
It remained quiet for a moment. Eru did not budge, opting to just stand there with a stunned face.
"I am your uncle. I am sure your mother convinced you all of your family except her family side died some tragic way- but your mother has the tongue of a snake. If you want to hear about your ol dad and I, how about we share a meal and talk? It is best you hear the truth."
It was quite a lot to process for Eru. Yet, this made sense. It made a ton of sense. Eru was raised to believe his father was a disloyal man who left him and his mother, but alas, the truth was to now come out. Eru being the rather curious boy he was, could not say no to hearing his uncle out.
It were to be unveiled to Eru that, his father and uncle, were what they call 'Hunters'. It was a term Eru briefly had heard before, but never cared to learn more about, until now. It is best for the child to join his uncle for tea, so the two may chat.
In their chairs, the two sat behind their cups of tea. Eru could not help but feel nervous being here, but he was so curious to learn about his father and uncle. It was kept a secret from him for far too long. It was crucial though that first Eru knew what occurred
It were to be a long night, but the mother of the boy was too busy to notice how long her son was gone. Eru was to learn what being a 'Hunter' meant, and hear the stories of how his father and uncle secured famous treasures.
It astounded the boy who could not help but listen on with awe. However, before long, Eru was addicted with 'Hunters'. It is exactly what the young boy desired; to venture out on a journey. Eru was now dead set on trying out for the 'Hunter Exams'. Yet, he had one last question.
"Oh- how about Jet, my father? I want to meet him!"
It then went quiet.
"Ah~ Jet? A dead man he is.. I know right? It is sad. Eru, your mom murdered him, just so she could steal his treasures. I tried to warn him that she was up to no good. It is certain she sold his treasures by now, except one."
Eru was furious, his rage painted clear on his face.
"It is you, Eru, you are his last treasure."
It was then that Eru was slam the table.
"If you want to avenge him, do not even bother. If you want to make him proud, you could retrieve his treasures, but that could be quite the undertaking. I can tell you that you have his talent, considering I had no clue you were there, but also, you stood up even after I socked you as hard as I did."
It was obvious to Eru what he must do.
"It is up to you, Eru. I leave Yorknew for Dolle Harbor on Monday. If you want to come with, be my guest. It is best we rent a room someplace though with aliases for the time being."
In due time, Eru and his uncle were to come to be closer. However, for now the man was more akin to a stranger than family. In the days that followed their fated meeting, the two were to be on the run from 'Crow' and use aliases to avoid being found. In the horizon, on a quiet Monday, Eru was to depart from Yorknew, with the sole objective of retrieving the treasures of his late father.
