The paths to arrive at the hunter exam were varied but all would eventually lead to a secluded forest on the Kuybo Continent. Far inland from Dolle Harbor the thick entanglement of trees and underbrush made the trek here difficult. There were no roads or proper paths requiring each contestant forge their own way through the wilderness. It was unlikely many would make it here without working up a sweat or getting somewhat dirty. But what awaited those who endured the hike was well worth it. Emerging from the trees into a large clearing, one would come upon a beautiful scene.
A keen nose might catch the sweet scent of it early. Sticking out from all the browns and greens was the soft pink of an ancient looking, giant, sakura tree. Despite being out of season, it appeared to be in full bloom and a gentle breeze was causing its leaves to dance into the air raining down like snow. In the shade of the tree there were many cloths set down and multiple long tables with velvet cushions for seating.
Somehow the tree was so massive there was enough room for hundreds of people worth of seating. Some of the tables were already full with hopeful applicants who had arrived early. There were beautiful women in Yukata moving about tending to emptied sake cups or bringing out dishes of freshly cooked eastern delicacies that came from who knows where. Some of them were playing music and dancing to entertain the guests.
Various types of meat and fish accompanied by fresh fruits and pickled vegetables were spread across the tables. The food seemed to be provided endlessly and the supply of plum wine appeared equally limitless. Though water and fruit juices were offered to the young and the non drinkers present. Not only that, but the food and drink all seemed to have an otherworldly satiating power. One could eat it without care for getting full or drunk and those who were familiar with their aura would notice they had the effect of restoring ones reserves.
At the center of it all, sitting at the table closest to the cherry blossom tree was a handsome middle aged man dressed in flamboyant robes. Petals fell upon his conical hat as he stood and poured a fresh cup of sake for himself and called out a welcome to the latest wave of arrivals.
"Oi! You're all in the right place, don't be shy! Come on over and join the banquet! There is still some time before the exam starts so enjoy yourselves! Bwahahahaha!"
After a hearty laugh he downed his cup in one big gulp and poured himself another as he returned to his seat. There were women on either side of him and they gave of coquettish looks hiding giggles behind their sleeves at the man's laid back approach. To those in the know, he was perhaps the most important person present. Those with keen ears might hear the gossip of others reveal his identity. Umaboozu, a member of the Hunter Association's Zodiacs!
His title was that of the Horse and it was public knowledge that he was a Triple Star Information Hunter. The number of people who wanted to get close to this man was not small and so all of the seats at his table had long since been occupied. But Umaboozu seemed more interested in the ladies accompanying him than the hunter hopefuls nearby who were fawning for favor.
Rules:
-Avoid any serious fights. Any participant who harms another in a way that hinders their ability to take part in the exams will be disqualified. In spite of fatal damage being frowned upon and not allowed, you are free to do anything else to subdue others by any means available to you.
-This thread is mainly for contestants to mingle IC before the start of the actual exams.
-There will be no posting order, but please do not double post between rounds. EmperorsTime posting again will signal the turn over of a new round of posts.
-A loose deadline of 48 hrs between EmperorsTime posts will be in place, but posts may come sooner or later as player posts and irl circumstance allow |

bum.. bum.. bum..
It was the beat of his heart, an uneasy rhythm. It was easy to be ecstatic for the day. Yet, nervous too the boy was, uneasy for the trials that were to lie ahead. Eru made a vow to be as cautious as he can with the trials that awaited him. It was hard to earn the trust of the boy; he could never let down his guard.
Yet, when proven to be good willed to him, his heart may slowly open up. In haste, having woke late, the boy was to quickly dress, taking his trusty baton with him to the site of the Exams. It had been quite the trek there, but with the aid of a navigator that led him, he was set on the right path.
In the air, the aroma of meat, fish, fruits, and a wide range of beverages were to be smelt by the youth. However, the child was on guard. It could be a ruse; Eru must remain cautious. If this was part of the trials ahead, the boy was to make success certain for him, as Eru did not plan to try not even a mere a lick of the food.
Upon coming to this banquet, there were to be a man that was to stand out from the crowd of early arrivals. It was a clear oriental man that donned a rather large straw hat. In his black combat boots, the boy was to step up to the table where this figure sat, piled on with women. Eru did not hesitate though to make his presence known to the banquet participants and that he had come for the famed 'Hunter 'Exams' and not a party.
Eru: "Hey, do you think we came to celebrate before we knew whether or not we pass or not.. !? I refuse to party anywho- until I am certain I became a Hunter.. ! So until then, I will wait patiently."
In an uproar over this banquet, the boy was to give quite the earful to the oriental man who he figured was the big shot here. Eru could not care about this banquet nor trust the food, so he were to just sit down under the shade of a nearby tree. If this was part of the trials, then no way he was to fail here!
Eru were sit back and watch the party as he chewed on his 'Bungee Gum' candy. It was his way to reduce the temptation to start chowing down on the delicious grub on display. Eru were to cross his arms, trying to think about things other than the food. It was at this time that his first trial of the day was to the start; trying to avoid eating food. Eru had ate breakfast anywho-

The snapping of twigs underfoot and rustle of leaves had been the only sound for hours now. So when the distant sound of music trailed into Tenju's ear it made him take pause. He was already in a foul mood given the lack or roads or footpaths to his destination. He did not receive a guide's help and had taken one of the rougher routes so far. The journey had taken him across rivers and streams leaving his geta sandals muddy. The grasping branches of low hanging trees and underbrush constantly tried to pull his striped hat off his head or tear the Okashiya clan crested haori he wore. So when the music reached him his first thought was to get angry at whatever fool was playing music out here in the wilderness.
Trudging forward a bit more however and he could see a break in the trees up ahead. Emerging into the clearing the smell of fine wine and good food assaulted his senses as the sight of the banquet brought disbelief to his eyes. Tenju's jaw fell agape briefly before he regained his composure and realized there were many people present. Up went the amiable smile that had the carefully crafted appearance of kindness and confidence about it. Within however he was filled with doubts. Was this another test? Just how many people here were here for the exam and how many were present to administer it. Soon the seeming host of the banquet stood up and welcomed them. The reception was warm enough and yet it brought Tenju no comfort.
An annoying voice sounded which suddenly brought Tenju back to bad memories of his trip here. One trouble making hooligan on the ship had given him enough headache that Tenju made it a point to take a different route here from him. Hoping that he was just hearing wrong, Tenju turned his head to see Eru indeed standing there. Not only had this irresponsible child found his way here, but he looked much less dirty and worn down by the journey. Tenju boiled under his false mask of smiles giving it an imperfection as it froze from being held too forcefully. It was so unfair! And now the brat was being rude to the obvious host of this banquet. Was he a walking magnet for trouble?
Hushed voices nearby were overheard. "Wow, that kid sure is brave being rude to a member of the Zodiacs like that." Said one man in between sips from his wine. "Yeah, he better hope the horse don't trample him! Ah, this pheasant is delicious!" Agreed another man who was already face first in a hunk of meat. Tenju became even more flabbergasted at Eru's actions. You just arrived and you're already offending a big shot. Do you want to die, kid? Tenju's right brow twitched a couple times before he took a deep breath and let it go. He wanted no part in Eru sabotaging himself and turned his nose up as he marched past the youth and took the opposite approach.
A respectful bow was made in Umaboozu's direction with his fist clasped in salute before moving towards an open seat off to the left. He sat down and waved a server over to ask for some hot tea and if they had any herbal dishes before turning his attention to some of the fruit in front of him. Tenju would pick a few grapes to eat and became startled when he noticed the aura refreshing properties. He tested a few other dishes and found they all were just as revitalizing. Weary from his trek, he began to chow down eager to replenish his stamina and wash out all his fatigue. Though the blonde haired man's eyes couldn't help sneak a peak in Eru's direction from beneath the brim of his hat as he ate. Tenju had to admit, he was curious what would become of the brat.

Antonie walked through the thick of the forest with nothing but a smile on his face and a simple sack on his back. He paused at a small creek that seemed to be in his path. “Well, what do we have here?” He looked around for a moment before finding a long and somewhat sturdy stick. “This should do…” He eyed it while putting some force on his stick to test if it would snap. He walked along the bank for a moment before finding the area that seemed the most narrow. “Okay, here we go.” He took a few steps back before running a full sprint. Upon reaching the edge he plunged the stick into the ground and used it not as a full blown pole vault but more as a bit of extra umph to get to the other side.

He let out a string of laughter as he came down on he other side, as he did the stick snapped in half causing him to tumble. As his path had he come nearly crashing in a tree, Antonie took a moment to gather himself. “Okay, based on the clues its around here somewhere.” He muttered to himself as he tried to regain his directional awareness. After a moment of studying the area around him he decided his path. It did not take long before he heard the sound of people gathered and chatting.

As he approached a young man approached him wearing the official badge of the Hunter’s Association. He checked Antonie in and handed him a badge. The number 202 was on it. “Damn, I guess that detour with the girl set me back a bit in getting here. I wonder if Eru made it?” He walked amongst the crowd before finding a seat with a few others around his age. They all chatted away and he would chime in now and then but mainly just absorb what he was hearing. A sudden announcement from the host caused most of those in attendance to turn their attention. Somebody else nearby the man caught his attention more than the host. Antonie stood up and looked over to see Eru once again the center of something. “What’s he doing up there I wonder.” His voice trailed off as he spoke to himself. The normal chatter from the crowd resumed.

”Excuse me, I think I see a friend” He said to the others before leaving the table and heading for Eru. As he wove through the crowd his eye caught another familiar figure, Tenju. Murmurs among the crowd could be heard as he passed. It seemed Eru had made a bold statement. From this distance he could neither see nor hear what had transpired but gathered it was not good. “A Zodiac? Where have I heard that term before?” As he got to Eru he approached the boy from his rear, placing his hand on his shoulder. “Eru, good to see you again. Perhaps you’d like to come back over there and sit with me?” He asked not fully understanding the situation but believing that removing Eru from this proximity to the host might aid in his passing of the exam.

Kadath stumbled towards the banquet in his true form clumsily; the preliminaries had worn heavily on him. He’d been spending too damn long in human form, and if any of the people present had a problem with his present form, they could have fun with that. Magical Beasts weren’t exactly a secret, after all.
Of course, like everyone else, he was quick to be greeted by someone who appeared to be an examiner. To be specific, this examiner was one middle-aged Hunter surrounded by hot chicks on either side of him. “Well, that’s just perfect,” Kadath muttered to himself, while pointedly avoiding eye contact with said examiner.
But before he could say something smart about the high-ranked Hunter, he realized why that might’ve been a bad idea and shut his mouth. “I mean – what a beautiful day out! With so many lovely ladies as well,” he said out loud, as he eyed several of the prettier specimens with a grin.
Not that he’d try anything. There could be consequences to such behavior, and he wasn’t that desperate in any case!

Eru's outburst almost seemed to fall on deaf ears as Umaboozu lounged back and picked a bit of gunk from his ear. He let out an exasperated sigh as he flicked away the wax. His world weary eyes settled onto Eru once the boy was done. The mountain like weight of this gaze could be felt for an instant before the zodiac opened his mouth. "Don't be so uptight~ Haven't you ever been told not to look a gift horse in the mouth?" The man the proceeded to laugh at his own pun along with everyone else present that had a cheesy sense of humor. "Suit yourself though...I know better than to try and force a stubborn horse to drink. Bwahahaha!" The man was falling over himself laughing and only composed himself enough to pour another cup of sake without spilling it after a rather large guffaw. Clearly, the man hadn't truly taken the kids words to heart and was instead trying to make the incident into something everyone could laugh over. But just as Antonie tried to extricate Eru from the spotlight another hopeful hunter had had enough.
"That's enough! The kid is right, we're all here for a reason and you treat us like a joke!? Is this the hunter exam or not!?"
"Yeah! I didn't come all this way to get mocked by some playboy!"
"Why don't women flock to me like that!?"
A series of voices rose up in protest, some obviously fueled more by jealousy than any righteous indignation. Many large and burly men with hot heads were stepping forward crowding around Eru and Antonie now. These men were those who had also chosen not to partake in any of the festivities. Most had been sitting off to the side trying to condition themselves for the trials ahead. But it was difficult for many of them to relax or meditate given the circumstance. Eru had been the spark to ignite their collective frustrations and now they were all eager to jump out and make a scene.
In response, the man seated next to Tenju and slammed the table as he stood up. "You all should be grateful for the chance to rest up before the exam!" Another man likewise stood and shouted, "You ungrateful wretches should just go back to the corner to grow mushrooms!" The words only riled up the gloomy bunch and soon things were escalating further. So many were clamoring to their feet that the table Tenju sat at was overturned causing most of the dishes of food to fall in his direction. The two factions of those down to party and those wishing for more solemn decorum began to mob up and tensions were such that a clash could erupt at any moment. Kadath would find himself surrounded by angry mob members as well, though which side he got caught up in would have depended on where he was standing.
Umaboozu yawned loudly as if the growing gangs of examinees threatened to break down into a brawl given just one more push. "Oi, just make sure you all don't break anything while having a fun warm up brawl!" He called out nonchalantly as if telling children not to rough house too hard before turning to a beautiful woman at his table who held a shamisen in hand. "Beni-chan~ Play us a rousing tune." The brunette smiled and bowed her head before beginning to pluck away at the strings.
Her song was an energetic one that filled the soul with a burning flame. Just a few notes in and someone had gotten caught up in the moment. Caught up in how Umaboozu seemed to condone a riot. Caught up in that fire burning in his chest! A random nobody threw the first punch and all hell broke loose.
Rules:
-A fist fight has broken out as a result of escalating circumstances. There are two rough "factions" between partiers and stiffs.
-Eru and Antonie are right in the very middle of the front lines and will find it difficult to avoid getting involved.
-Tenju finds himself at the rear of the partiers.
-Kadath will be in the middle of the ranks of either side and can choose to easily force his way towards or away from the main conflict. |

Xero had been tracking for a long time, unsure if he was still on time or not. He possibly could of gotten turned around up here, with all these similar looking trees, but the only way to know for sure was for him to press on and see where he came out, but he was pretty sure he was still going in the correct direction, he doesn't know why,but he had a gut feeling about it. After a little while longer of trekking through the trees, he finally made it out into a clearing where he saw a gathering of people, with tables of food and drinks in the clearing as well. Was this it, was this the beginning of the Hunter Exam? Xero had finally made it to an Exam after all these years, and he couldn’t wait to tell his brother once this was all over.
Xero looked around and slowly made his way over to one of the tables with food and drinks on top of it. He didn’t know what to try first, as it all seemed so good and he couldn’t wait. He grabbed some beef and vegetables from a big platter and devoured it in no time. He grabbed some of the juice and water and chugged them down as well. Xero ate a little bit of everything, as he hadn’t had a meal spread like this in quite some time, and he wanted to try it all. While he was doing this, he didn’t notice all the other participants that had reached here before him, as well as after he got here. He was too intrigued by the food and drinks.
After a bit of eating, he stopped, and decided to walk around and look around a bit, and as soon as he did, he noticed a fight had broken out nearby. Xero was unsure what to do as he looked at the man who seemed to have been in charge, or at least who Xero assumed was incharge of right now. He was allowing them to fight, as Xero tried his best to stay clear of the fighting, as he wanted to save all of his energy for the Exam itself, as Xero had heard that it's going to be a very tough challenge for people to get through.

Things had been going great for Acha, he had made some allies/friends on the boat and found his way to the exam. While the path..well you couldn’t really call it a path was difficult, Acha just thought of it as training for his future in fauna. He could hear other hunter aspirants moving towards the beginning of the exam as well. He thought about going to walk with some of them, but quickly realized from the vast amount of cursing that most of the aspirants seemed to be in a poor mood. That was something Acha couldn’t believe, he was anxious, but like his mom told him that just meant he really cared about what he was doing. He just had to channel those emotions positively and keep his positive mental attitude. He’d hum and sing on the way up to the banquet. “♫Hangman is comin down from the gallows♫…”Acha would continue down the path until he arrived at the banquet, late it seemed as if most had already sat down and began eating. He hoped he didn’t miss anything to important their seemed to be someone of importance that everyone was deferring too. He had just made a couple horse jokes, maybe he was a rancher? There was another crowd forming around a child who was facing off with the horse joke man. That was when horse man said they could fight to get off some energy, Acha wondered if this was part of a secret test. That’s when the music would start, Acha knew that he had to prove himself fast if he wanted to impress horse man. Looking at the crowd there seemed to be a split between the people standing and the people eating, Acha needed to work up an appetite for all this delicious food , he figured he could fight for a while then eat. He’d stretch sticking his left foot out in front of him and leaning while crouching then switch positions after 15 seconds on each side, then he’d yell before leaping into action. “ONLY ONE WAY TO THE TOP AND THAT’S THROUGH ALL OF YOU”
Acha near the back of the partiers near Tenju would run forward to the where the front of the stiffs and do a flying drop kick towards the closest combatants chest. It was a rather large 6’4” man who once kicked would grab Acha’s leg and toss him landing him right where he started next to Tenju. He’d try to laugh but the air was knocked out of him instead just a nascent sound of wheezing came from him. Eventually he’d get back up and run back to the front to find a new opponent the music, the fighting this was the kind of club he expected when he first heard about the hunters. |

The hike through the mountain wasn't exactly an easy thing, but Belladonna made it. It was thanks to Kiriko for guiding her as well, but it made her wonder about John Pepper. She left him alone with the Kiriko while he was still unconscious, but those shapeshifters weren't actually bad, weren't they? It would suck if Belladonna couldn't watch any fun content from John Pepper anymore.
It seemed the party had started already, she saw some people already throwing punches at each other, although some others decided to be a bystander and stay away from the fist fest. The redhead noticed a rather eccentric man, enjoying his picnic with women accompanying him. Judging from his appearance and carefree demeanor, it seemed the man was Umaboozu, a member of the Zodiacs. Some men around her confirmed her guess by mentioning his name and how awe they were to see the man in person.
The redhead didn't have any intention to join the fight, but she gripped her umbrella just in case as she walked through the crowd. Her agility helped her to avoid any stray punches and the way she moved using her acrobatic skill made it not difficult for her to quickly reach the table where Umaboozu sat with his women.
With a lovely smile, Belladonna approached The Horse, "It seems you are enjoying the brawl. Should I pour some wine for you, Sir?"

It shook him to his very core! Eru could not help but just stand within the midst of the rowdy crowd that gathered around. In spite of being the one to have begun this riot, he was not so keen on allowing this riot to fester or erupt any further.
Eru had learnt his lesson prior, on that ship with Tenju. In a graceful leap and a step, the boy was to jump up, using the rioting applicants as footing to flee from this riot. Eru were to rush forward!
In a jump unto the table of the horse, he was to then pounce forth onto the sakura tree, scaling the beautiful landmark. Once the boy was to be up on a secure branch of the sakura tree, he was to yell out with his heart to riot that ensued.
Eru: "Oi~! Is this how you all want to use your energy.. !? before the Hunter Exams! I am sure all of you came for a reason! If you prefer to conserve your energy, we ought to wait patiently, rather than fight each other!"
In order to grab the eyes of all the applicants, the boy decided to take the front and center, hoping to quell the riot with his words. It was the wise choice to do; he rather not be chastised by Tenju again anywho-
It would be clear when gazing upon Eru: the boy was set on following a righteous path, despite his rather folly nature. Eru were to set his eyes upon the riot, not feeling proud of what had begun to transpire under the canopy of this sakura tree.

Kadath chuckled. A brawl, huh? Well, it seemed like this might’ve been part of the test after all, so it behooved him to participate. “Alright, you fucknuts. It’s time to show you all the full power of Kadath Emberg – “
A punch straight to the jaw interrupted Kadath’s self-aggrandizing speech, spraying his spittle everywhere. “Damn it!” he said, before swiping his tail in the punch’s general direction. He managed to catch the offending person in the blow…along with two others, it seemed.
“Oh, screw you!” came a voice. One of the downed people jumped up and aimed his fist straight at Kadath – Kadath easily dodged it, then retaliated with a body slam. His focus wasn’t as efficient as he’d liked it to be. But then again, he hadn’t been in many serious fights before this examination had started.
He’d just have to get used to it at this point, given his prospective career.

Gently roused from his exhaustive slumber, the true form of the Kiriko had revealed themselves, tending to him with a myriad of treats. Realizing he had passed out after catching up, barely passinghis exam leaving him with mixed feelings. A smile on his face, quickly souring as he realized that he could have just as easily failed if they had destroyed his drone or there was a malfunction.
"Your girlfriend has gone on ahead of you."
"Whaaaaa-"
Even in a daze, John Pepper could only think of the umbrella-toting diva. They had only met recently and a couple times at that. The thought was enough motivation to stir him from the Kirikos hospitality.
"Lemme go find her. You know girls, throwing men overboard one minute, and then emasculating you with their progression in a hunter exam the next. If you need anything, call my manager, and thanks again."
John Pepper had arrived fashionably late as he tended to do. Chaos had broken out so quickly, it seemed as if people were intent on a brawl, and Pepper would never miss out on content as he himself chanted the social media title.
Whipping out his phone, he brought his back to a wall. The blurry image on his phone screen would slowly pan out capturing the entiretyof the events unfolding in HD. However, his aim would tilt towards Belladonna. The recording now was only of the womens chest, bouncing as she evaded strikes effortlessly.

Ambulia got somewhat lost on the way here. Having been her first time outside of Yorknew she took the time to really go around and explore the area, having almost entirely forgot why she was here in the first place. It wasn't until one of the locals mentioned the Hunter Exam that the thought popped back into her mind. She was calm and collected on the outside, but inside she was freaking out. Almost immediately rushing her way towards the location where everyone was supposed to gather.
Stepping inside, she was greeted with the moment of violence, entirely confused as to what was happening. Was this the first test? If so, she was already far behind the others. Not really needing any sort of explanation, Ambulia made her way through the crowd swiftly. Every step she took had confidence, and through some miraculous intervention, nobody paid attention to her. At least not yet. With this newfound conviction, Ambulia walked right up to another red-headed woman and threw the hardest punch she could (which isn't really saying much).
Now finding herself near some weirdo in a hat, she figured now was the best time for introduction. "Hi, I'm Ambulia. You are...?" Her other hand was extended to the man in hopes of making a good impression.
Note: Punch was thrown at belladonna

A piping hot pot of tea had just been served. It was right on time to help him wash down his meal and so he eagerly poured himself a cup and began to drink generously. The young man was wrapped up in the bliss of the moment and remained oblivious to the goings on around him as tensions rose. It wasn't until Umaboozu spoke up that he began to notice the atmosphere had changed. "Eh? What's going on?" He turned his head just in time to see the first punch get thrown and then the world flipped upside down and a rain of food fell from the sky. No wait, it was Tenju who had been flipped along with the table!
Landing onto his back caused the blonde haired Okashiya cry out in pain as the bruises he bore radiated agony on impact. He was frozen there with pain groaning as he become covered in bits of food. At least he had been spared from getting splashed with the hot tea as that fate rested with a poor soul seated next to him. Rather than get up and join the brawl in anger as the neighboring examinee however, Tenju continued to lay there with his eyes closed tight. The four bruised points at his heart, lungs, and stomach paralyzed him for a time but he managed to stop his groaning and endured the rest in bitter silence. The pain did not begin to subside until another man was thrown near to Tenju.
Tenju just began to get up and look for his hat in time to see Acha get up and rush back into the crowd. Or perhaps more importantly, the crushed striped hat that had been caught underneath the thrown combatant. That hat had been a gift to Tenju for his services rendered at the small village. It was hand made and one of a kind so every crease and fray to it was a loss to him. A hand that had been moving to brush off bits of food instead turned into a shaking fist. He didn't have much interest in joining the brawl. Rather than interpret it as part of the exam he saw it as a waste of time. But things were different regarding his treasured hat, damnit!
A battle cry would sound out from behind Acha as Tenju snatched up the hat to put its crinkled form onto his head and ran after the silver haired stranger. "Oi! You brute, do you know what you've done!?" The words exploded out in a rage as he performed a wide swing aimed haphazardly towards Acha's back.

But over time he slowly became more resilient and in time came to possess a body overflowing with vitality and good health. The bruised spots on his back remain tender and could be considered weak points, but the rest of his flesh is unnaturally sturdy and fatigue takes longer to set in. As the bruises slowly heal, his body will in time grow to become even more robust.
Trait Effect: Four points on Tenju's back over his heart, lungs, and stomach are nearly permanently bruised during this stage of conditioning. Direct attacks to any of those points on his back will deal damage as though it were 2 tiers higher. In exchange, he takes damage elsewhere on the body as though it were 1 tier less and can perform acts of physical labor for much longer than the average man. In addition, Tenju has a strong vitality allowing him to survive otherwise deadly wounds as long as his primary organs remain intact. |

Fists and sakura petals alike flew as a gust of wind stirred through the banquet seemingly joining in on the excitement. Some fought because they had been incensed into a rage. Others mistook this as part of the exam and joined in order to not fall behind. But not all would find themselves wrapped up in the furious fighting. Xero would find himself in the company of a middle aged man with massive front teeth who stood beside him with crossed arms. "You sure you shouldn't be joining them? Young'uns like you should live rowdy while you can. Old men with bad backs like me can't keep up. Teheheheh." His strange laugh sounded as he patted Xero on the back urging him to go start fighting as well. The buck toothed stranger wouldn't looked Xero in the eyes at all and turned away abruptly. If Xero watched him, he would notice the man was encouraging others to go fight as well, patting all of them on the back to gently push them forward.
The strange man seemed keen on seeing the combatants grow in number, but he also gave off an the air of an expert despite his ridiculous appearance. When Eru started to speak up to dissuade everyone from fighting it drew toothy fellow's attention. He would frown and glare at the youth but as he went largely ignored, the stranger snorted and went back to instigating more people into the brawl.

Others didn't need encouragement to join the fray however. Acha and Tenju had begun a one sided feud of the periphery of the riot. The large man who had thrown Acha earlier now had his back turned and was acting as a rather reliable wall of meat to give the two fighters room from the rest of the fighting should the silver haired man accept Tenju's fist of fury and seek to return one of his own. Similar small scale grudges were forming here and there while rivalries began to be forged out through flesh and sweat. Kadath in particular was quite striking as a powerful figure amidst the heart of the crowd. He would find that a burly man had come face to face with him.
 "Don't you realize someone had to work really hard to cook all this food for us? How can you be so ungratefuuuul!"
The burley mountain of a man shouted as he rushed towards Kadath to give him a crushing bear hug. It was clear from his shouting that he was part of the faction that had wanted to initially enjoy the banquet. He didn't even realize he was attacking someone unrelated to the initial scuffle and only knew that the large crocoman before him was strong. Not wanting to pick on the weak, this musclebound butcher had decided to pick on someone his own size.

John Pepper would manage to catch high quality combat content as many of the fighters in the crowd had experience in a wide variety of martial arts and fighting styles. A holy land of mixed martial arts clashing was on display for a time. But a different focus entered his lens. Soon the bouncing subject of his filming would be blocked however by a larger pair of- wait, no. They were just closer, and they belonged to a much older woman.
She was dancing and swaying to the music in an energetic fashion which sent her assets flying to and fro. To make matters worse, she had seemed to be aware of the fact that he was filming and was intentionally trying to dance her way into the frame regardless of attempts to look past her. The old ladies hips would gyrate her into motion inching closer to Mr. Pepper by the moment. Soon he would even begin to pick up her wheezing breaths on his microphone.

Behind the unsightly display would be the scene of Belladona approaching Umaboozu. The lounging zodiac was largely uninterested in much of the fighting. He was instead snacking on some fruit as he spoke more corny jokes to his entourage of beautiful women who all giggled no matter how bad the humor was. His eyes turned towards the woman as she offered to serve him wine and for a moment he would seem to take things a bit seriously. The smirk never left his lips but his gaze seemed weightier than before as he replied, "Ho~ To have Ms. Vinci serve me wine. Has your family really fallen so low?" The words might sound arrogant and demeaning, but they carried the tone of advice. Whether or not she would take it as such was up to here. But Ambulia would suddenly interrupt before Belladona could make her reply.
Unphased by the sudden attack right before his eyes, Umabooze simply returned to his nonchalant attitude as he laughed at Ambulia's calm introduction. He knew full well who she had just assaulted. "Are you sure you can afford to chat?" umaboozu asked as he pointed at Belladona. The man hadn't really been watching the rest of the fights at all, but now that two beauties were about to duke it out in front of him he seemed to be paying attention to their conflict.
